Yankee stadium is a stadium located in Bronx, New York. Yankee Stadium is a staple in sports history and will, without a doubt, never be forgotten as long as sports are a part of mankind’s tradition. Sports have been part of mankind since the beginning, with little competitions to see who of the community is the most preeminent. Nowadays sports are more traditional form of entertainment with a few sports being the most recognizable. One of those sports is baseball.
One of the most known locations in baseball culture is Yankee Stadium. Yankee stadium is most prominent because when it was first built marked the beginning of the Yankees "perfect streak" which has such distinguished people such as Joe DiMaggio, Lou Gehrig, Yogi Berra, and the well-known Babe Ruth or the Great Bambino as he was known throughout the baseball community.
While the original Yankee Stadium ( built in the 1930s) is no longer in use, the significance of the stadium will never be omitted from the memory of true sports fans. The new Yankee stadium opened in 2009 and seems to be a new promising future for the Yankees and the era of baseball.
Bravo! Great piece, Jader! I went to the old Yankee Stadium back when I lived in NYC, but I didn't know all of this. Very cool. Thanks for writing!
