Have you ever visited Paris or heard about it? Well now it’s your chance to get to learn about Paris. Paris is located in northern central France, in a north bending arc of the river Seine. The Paris atmosphere is as rich as it’s delicious food. Paris is home to some of Europe’s most famous museums, landmarks, and monuments, such as the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, and Notre Dame. Paris was also one of the first European cities to adopt gas street lighting . In 18,205,600 gas lamps were placed to illuminate the streets and boulevards of Paris which presents a breathtaking view and therefore gained the nickname “city of lights”. Paris is mostly known for the Eiffel Tower which is the most visited monument in Paris and a symbol of liberation. It is about 300 meters high and 328 feet wide.
Let’s now talk about the amazing French food and impressive art collections/cool street art Paris is also known for. French food is very tasty and brings people together to enjoy good eating and drinking and it’s the power to create “togetherness”. Paris has thousands of restaurants, and the French are known for eating very rich, buttery foods and lots of cheese! When you visit Paris, one of the first things that you will see will be beautiful artwork that are all over the street and walls. Art is one of the major attractions of Paris because people come all over the world to admire France museums and art galleries.
Paris is one of the world’s most gorgeous cities, and it has a long history behind its beauty. I had a fun journey learning and researching about Paris and I hope you enjoy it. Also, I hope I convinced you to learn more about Paris and even maybe to go and explore Paris one day.
