Polar Bear at the San Diego Zoo, by Michael W.

Polar Bears and People: Cataloging Conflict | Hakai Magazine
Have you ever been to the San Diego Zoo? While on a recent virtual tour of this zoo, I learned about a specific type of animal called a polar bear. This animal lives in the tundra in the arctic circle and is in threatened condition. They can grow up to 10 feet long, eating meat. But what I found really interesting is that:
  • Polar bears roll in snow to get clean
  • Polar bears like to swim
  • Polar bears live where its cold
  • Polar bears do not live in the fridge-ha ha
When you have time, check out the San Diego Zoo, and while you’re there, make sure to check out the polar bear.
