The reason I would go to Panama is that it’s a beautiful place and a very peaceful place to go. Panama
is located in Central America. What is most interesting about Panama is the only place in the whole
world where you can see the sunrise on the Pacific ocean and sunset on the Atlantic ocean. I found it
pretty cool because I’m up before sunrise and from time to time I like to see the sunrise and sunset.
Some modern facts about Panama are “Panama is the only place in the world where you can see the
sunrise on the Pacific and set on the Atlantic.” Also, a fact is Panama was the first Latin American
country to adopt the U.S. currency as its own in 1904. An interesting fact is “The City of Panama boasts
the oldest, longest, continuously running Municipal Council on the American continent.” A couple of
historical facts are 

Panama was “discovered” in 1501 by a Spanish explorer named Rodrigo de Bastidas. There were
obviously people living there already when the Spainards arrived, so they didn’t actually discover it.
Panama is probably best is known for the Canal, which connects the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. This
lively Latin American also borders one of Central America's richest rain forests. Panama gained
independence from Colombia on November 28, 1821. One thing that could surprise you is “In Panama,
you can swim in the Atlantic Ocean and the Pacific Ocean on the same day.”  This surprised me because
in Panama you can swim in the Atlantic Ocean and the Pacific Ocean on the same day and you can’t do
that in many places. One of the most important things people should know about Panama is the only
place in the whole world where you can see the sunrise on the Pacific ocean and set on the Atlantic ocean.
In my opinion that is a good reason to go if you like seeing the sunrise and sunset.
