I picked Bora Bora to write about because it’s one of my dream places to visit with my family and friends. One other reason I picked Bora Bora is because it’s one of the beautiful islands in the Pacific Ocean. It’s located in French Polynesia, and four million years ago the island was formed by a volcanic eruption, and I never knew that so that's one of the things I learned about Bora Bora. Five interesting facts about Bora Bora are: it’s divided into five smaller islands when I read that I was shocked because I thought it was just one island. Something else that got me shocked was that they got the name Bora Bora from the Natives when they found the island they used to say “Bora Bora Bora”. There are no snakes or even insects so you don’t have to worry about getting bitten or even getting hurt so if you sleep on the beach you don’t have to worry about getting hurt. Also when you go to Bora Bora they give the females flowers to put it on your left side ear if you're taken and if you're single you put it on your right ear because the males there like to flirt and they are good looking I guess. The person who found Bora Bora in 1769 was Captain James. Bora Bora is half way between Australia and the U.S, and when I read that I was thinking that is far from Boston.
One of the quotes I read was " Undoubtedly the most celebrated island in the South Pacific, Bora Bora is French Polynesia's leading lady. Her beauty is unrivaled and her fame, unwavering. Bora Bora is one of the few places on earth that everyone hopes to witness in their lifetime—and once you see it, you are forever enamored" (Tahiti.com), so when people travel there, they will be amazed by its beauty. But the most important thing people should know about Bora Bora is that it is the most safe place to travel with your family because you guys don’t need to think about getting bitten by animals or insects because most islands do have harmful insects and it’s isn’t good for little kids. I loved to write Bora Bora because I learned so much about my dream place and if I go one day I know some things about the island. I found all those information at the website in Travelteam.com. and trevalcroc.com, and Tahiti.com https://www.tahiti.com/island/bora-bora
