Hitachi Seaside Park in Japan is a place that gives you it all, it’s all so mesmerizing and dreamy yet so real; a hidden gem, you may even call it. The main attraction gives you a breath-taking seemingly endless field of flowers that you could frolic through, whilst the aroma of subtle sweetness seeps through your nose. If that’s not enough, you may catch yourself enjoying one of the many rides; 25 to be exact! For the cherry on top, there’s multiple cafes, restaurants, and food stalls that may tempt you because who doesn’t like to treat themselves to some food, honestly? Not to mention, this place is situated on an island country well known for their architecture, arts, traditions, and a ton more… Japan of course! If you read this far in, this place has definitely caught your interest, meaning that going to Hitachi Seaside Park should be next in your bucket list!

This park has another trick up its sleeve… Everything seems tranquil and normal up to this point; the ‘Rock in Japan’ festival is hosted in Hitachi Seaside Park every year during early August.

The ‘Rock in Japan’ festival is an annual concert event that lasts 3 days. This started during the year of 2000, and it’s been traditional ever since. It’s the biggest rock festival in Japan.

The African safari is a very interesting place to explore. There are hundreds of animals and over a hundred different species. These are the top 5 animals you’ll find. First off, lions, lions as you may know lions are the king of the jungle fun fact did you know that a lion's roar can be heard up to 1 mile also lions move in packs that consist mostly of females

If your not interested in seeing lions then you’ll definitely find cape buffaloes fascinating they are huge creatures weighing almost a ton. They keep their huge figure by eating as much grass as they can find. You’ll also find the African elephant. Did you know that baby elephants suck their trunks?

Towards eastern Africa you’ll find giraffes. Ever wonder why giraffes have blue tongues? Well they have blue tongues because their tongues are mostly out of their mouth to pick leaves so they need extra protection from the sun. Last but not least ostriches, you may know Ostriches for being able to run fast and that's true ostriches can run 40 miles in one hour ever wonder why? It's because they have elasticity in their joints which lets them run so fast.

Have you ever wanted to swim with pigs? Well, The Bahamas is your place! 

The friendly pigs greet you from the time you get off the boat. The cute big and little pinkies enjoy the attention they get and they want a lot! Exuma is the only place in the world that offers this unique experience. The pigs allow you to gently touch them, the pinkies love a good snack like fruits and veggies. But the pigs can only be fed in the water so they don’t ingest any sand. 

What if I get chased? The big and little pinkies are likely to chase you if you have a yummy snack. 

What animals make The Bahamas so great? 

The Bahamas has dolphins, iguanas, sharks, flamingoes, turtles, and more. While snorkeling and diving in the beautiful waters you can meet Iguanas, play with stingrays along with swimming with nurse sharks, and spotting turtles along the way, all these creatures make it an exotic sea adventure.

A visit to Toronto is a visit that’ll leave you satisfied! Toronto is one of the many cities in Canada-almost like another New York, but as if it were  run by the Swiss. Toronto has the best services with really positive reviews from other visitors. There’s an aquarium full of different marine life, and next to that aquarium is the CN Tower where you can enjoy a fine meal while looking out the windows with a great view over the city. The CN Tower is a broadcast and telecommunication tower. There’s also an island park you can ferry to to enjoy your time at the beaches or get on the amusement rides.

Toronto is home to more than 8,000 restaurants. It’s a very multicultural city, with over a hundred languages spoken and a high population of diverse people.

You’ll have fun exploring the city, and don’t be shy, everyone is welcome here!

Jerusalem has a long and complicated history. It’s one of the most controversial cities in the world because Jews and Muslims both want control of it. All three religions can trace their roots back to Abraham, who is considered the “father” of Judaism, Islam, and Christianity. I chose Jerusalem because it is a very religious place, and I thought it would be a very cool place to learn about. Jerusalem is a very sacred place to the religion Islam and Christianity and Judaism. There are over 12 places of holy buildings. The golden dome symbolizes the city. 

A little bit about the city itself. Jerusalem has an “Old City” that is thousands of years old, as well as more modern buildings. There are open-air markets making the town pottery. You can walk around the city in like an hour. In the “Old City” one fact that surprised me is that instead of cars on certain tint streets they use donkeys because their streets are so narrow. Walls of Judaism held against attackers and war. Jerusalem needs to stay sacred because it is such a religious place that holds many important places for religions.

When I moved to Boston in the fifth grade my older cousin was obsessed with anime.

I´ve seen Kyoto in anime and it always looked so beautiful so I started watching youtube videos of people visiting and seeing shrines  and cherry blossom trees. Trying out so many kinds of food. It's such a beautiful coulter  and the people respect each other and their elders. Everyone is so nice and the food is always amsing. 

Kyoto is known to be the mother of all shrines. Fushimi Inari Taisha is one of the most well known shrines in Kyoto. According to nippon.com about 2.7 million people or ¨pilgrims¨ visit this shrine a year. 

One of the most popular foods in kyoto according to travel.gaijinpot.com  is Yudofu (Boiled tofu.)  Yudofu is made of tofu, water, kelp and a sauce that is made of  rice vinegar, soy sauce, and lemon juice . topped with green onion and japanese hot pepper mx.  

According to lillagreen.at ¨Kyoto has MORE than 1650 temples, 400 shinto shinto shrines,800 shrines, a castle and 3 palaces.¨There is also a shrine of the name Shimogamo shrine which is 1337 years old. 

Remember to be respectful at all the shrines, temples and other places you viste. To you this is a silly vacation but to the people that live there this is  their home and their culture. Why I Always Wanted To Go To India: By Ava

 

I’ve always wanted to go to India. India is a country in South Asia and the capital of India is New Delhi. The flight to India takes about 17 hours and 56 minutes which is a very long, long plane ride. The population of India is 1,393,409,038 as of 2021 which is a 0.97% increase from 2020. The thing about India is that it’s the second most popular country. The people from India speak the languages Hindi and English. The language Hindi is the official language of the Republic of India, and the language English is a secondary official language of the Republic of India. India is one of the world's coolest civilizations ever.

The reason why I really want to go to India so bad is because I always wanted to see what the wildlife is like there, I always wanted to see new animals and pretty rare plants that I have never seen before. The wildlife in India has a hundred national parks. These national parks cover 15,600 square miles of protected land. There are so many large and small animals that live in India. There are so many places and large land and homes for animals and there are deserts, mountains, tropical forests, rivers, and the plains. India is filled with the best places for animals to live. 

The plains in India are home to the Bison and Ardeotis. The deserts in India are home to antelope, Chinkara, Bustard, Great Indian Bustard, Blackbuck, Striped Hyena, Indian desert Jird, and a Bengal Fox. The mountains in India are home to Snow leopards, wild yak, goral, Himalayan monal, Serow, and Tahr. The Tropical Forest in India are home to Leopards, Hornbill, Panthers, Flying foxes, Sloth bear, Gibbon, and a Cobra. The rivers in India are home to a South Asian river dolphin, Gharial, freshwater fish, Marsh crocodile, Sea turtles, Egret, and a Indian Skimmer. 

There are also so many delicate and pretty plants I wanted to see. The kinds of plants they have in India are different from the flowers and plants we have here in Boston. I mean there are some plants and flowers that I know that India has like a rose, Marigolds, and orchids, those are the flowers I know. In India there is a Lotus, Rose, Marigold, Jasmine, Bougainvillea, and Orchids. 

There are so many rare things in India that I never saw before, and I really want to see some of that stuff with my own eyes. One day I am going to travel there and explore the place.

Ladies and Gentleman, do you want to learn some interesting facts about Barbados? Then come with me to learn some interesting things about Barbados. I was inspired to research Barbados because I get to learn about my Dad’s family and where my Great Grandmother’s family is from.  

Let’s start with some basic facts. Barbados is an island that is a million years old, but only 166 square miles in size. Barbados has many interesting towns, and the capital is Bridgetown. Some of the towns to visit in Barbados are: Holetown, Ostins and Bridgetown and many other places. There are so many activities  that you can do on the island,  for example: go visit some of the world's most beautiful beaches, go catch a fish by the water and sit down and eat some good food by sitting right next to the water and watching the sunset and the sunrise. Some of the most popular foods are: Fishcake, Cou- Cou and Conkies. Imagine yourself hearing the ocean at night and in the morning as the sun is rising. Imagine yourself tasting the amazing food like shrimp and chicken and all the other amazing food there. Picture yourself seeing the ocean waves going in and out of the water. Picture yourself smelling all the amazing food and drinks that they have there on the island. Picture yourself touching the nice warm sand and also the nice warm water at night time and in the morning. 

Another fact about Barbados is that the language that they speak is Bajan Creole (which is a mix of African, Native and English languages), but the official language is English. Something that is interesting is that 97% of the people there are very well educated so it means that they have good education and a very strong government. So now that you learned some basic and interesting facts about Barbados you now know some facts about Barbados. I hope that you enjoy the trip and learned a lot.

Hello! Please, join me in an adventure worth waiting for. Come with me

to a place one of the sunniest places in the world known as Greece.

This journey is going to be bright! First the reason I chose to write

about this place because I was really into the country and I learned

about ancient Greece back in middle school so I was really curious to

know more information about Greece. I always wanted to visit the

beaches and the buildings when I used to watch Rick Steve's Europe

where he visited many countries including Greece and when he went

there and I saw the beaches that’s where I figured where I wanted to

visit. Greece is located in Europe which is also home to many

different countries such as Germany and Russia to name a few. Capital

city of Greece is Athens which has a population of 3.1 Million people.

The most interesting thing about Greece is that it is known for their

historical agriculture and has amazing beaches where you can party all

day if you want to. For example the most infamous structure in Greece

is known as the Parthenon which was constructed in 447 BC. It is

located in the Athenian Acropolis, Tourists love visiting Greece just

to see the Parthenon. The Parthenon is a former temple and it is to

commemorate the goddess Athena who to some people is their patron. 
Amazing, Spectacular, and Unbelievable facts I found about Greece

throughout my research is Democracy was created in Greece, Olympic

games created and surprisingly I found out that Greece is one of the

sunniest places in the world. Ha! to me when I read that sentence I

didn’t believe what I was reading so I was surprised. I read about a

quote from one of my sources and it states "Greece has more than 2,000 islands, of which about 170 are inhabited;

some of the easternmost Aegean islands lie just a few miles off the Turkish coast.” I read some more

information about the islands and I thought that there were less than 2,

000 and so I was wondering what type of Islands are in Greece. I found

the islands which include Santorini, Rhodes, Corfu, and Amorgos. The

Biggest Island in Greece is known as Crete. The origin of where the

islands were named is to represent the ancient gods and kings that

were the inspiration of Island names. For example the Island Crete

means mighty and strong. The first people on the island were named

“Cueretas” and that’s how the name evolved into Crete. One important

thing I want people to know about Greece is that Greece along with

other countries such as India and China gave us maps. In the 6th

century (BC) was the first created set of maps. In the past people

used cave paintings as a way to navigate around the world but as maps

were starting to get produced the maps became more as a resource

overtime. Throughout my research I learned a lot more about Greece as

a country and what they are most known for. I hope that you have
